Seiji Sakai

Sakai, Seiji Seiji Sakai, 85 years old, of Roseville, passed away on August 6, 2018. Born in Seattle, WA, on March 8, 1933. At the age of 2 his family moved back to Japan where he grew up. Seiji was a Sgt in the U.S. Air Force, active 5 1/2 years as a Language Special Interpreter. He worked for the Federal Government for 58 years, retiring from the Minneapolis Post Office at the age of 78! Seiji was very active at the Japanese Fellowship Church. He enjoyed playing in the Ukulele group. Preceded in death by parents, one brother, one sister, two half-brothers and one half-sister. Survived by 5 nephews: Edward Girard, Bruce Girard, Ronald Girard, Allen Sakai, and Craig Sakai and their families. Celebration of Life service, Sat.
