Adrienne Adele 'Winky' Rice

Rice, Adrienne Adele "Winky" Age 67, died April 10, 2018 in hospice in Inverness, Florida following complications from surgery. She was born on October 11, 1950 in Minneapolis to Erling and Lucil Rice, grew up in Hopkins, graduated from the Academy of the Holy Angels in Richfield, and attended the University of Minnesota. She was a pilot, generous friend and hostess, developed successful businesses, and moved to homes in Markville and Crane Lake, Minnesota and Homosassa, Florida, where she resided at the time of her death. She is survived and greatly missed by siblings, Rex Rice (Ann) of Minnetonka, Cathy Farrell (Jack) of Minneapolis, Terry Engels of St Cloud, Stephanie Warren of Sherman, Connecticut, Cecilia Kalmbach (John) of Downingtown, Pennsylvania, and David Rice of Waverly, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents, Erling and Lucil Rice. A memorial service will be held at St. Gabriel the Archangel Church, St. John's campus, 5 Interlachen Rd., Hopkins on Friday, July 27 at 11:00. Interment with her parents in Hopkins will be private.
