Hanson, Howard B. Age 83, of Hopkins, passed away peacefully June 29, 2018. Preceded in death by parents, Chester and Ethel (Ostlund) Hanson; and brothers Francis and James. Born November 15, 1934, Alexandria, MN. Howard served 3 years in the Navy Pacific Fleet. Was a founder and surviving owner of ProColor, retired in 2002. Howard's passions included fishing, hunting, cooking, travel. He devoted his life to serving others to promote equality and protect the environment, and volunteered for many causes including countless meals cooked for church events and entertaining friends, family, customers and employees. Above all he cared for and enjoyed the company of family and friends. Survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Carol Alleman Hanson; children Howard Bryan, James, Katie, Pamela (Robert) Goldman, and grandchildren, Arthur Goldman and Elana Goldman, as well as many other relatives and friends. Memorial Service 11 AM Saturday, July 21, with visitation one hour prior to the service, Gethsemene Lutheran Church, 715 Minnetonka Mills Rd., Hopkins, MN 952-935-1753.
