Lindlan, Joanne Pugh Aslesen Age 86, passed away in her home surrounded by family after a courageous battle with cancer. Joanne was born April 17, 1932, to Naida Pugh. Jo enjoyed reading, cooking, baking, painting, dominoes, knitting baby blankets, and many BS vacations. She also enjoyed traveling, visiting France, Italy, Ireland, and many of the United States. She is survived by her husband, John Lindlan; daughter, Gaye (Allan) Winter; son, Erik (Twila); Stepdaughters, Pam (Kevin) Keough, Kari Jo (Rick) Passman, and Shannon (Kraig) Karasti; grandchildren, Christian (Jessica), Andy, and Aaron (Katie)n; step grandchild, Taryn Karasti; 12 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren; brother, James (Lucinda) Saunders of Clermont, Florida; sisters, Sandra Saunders Powell of Marshall, and Jackie (Bob) Meyer of Marshall; and many, many, more loving relatives and friends! She was preceded in death by her parents; and her sister, Donna Saunders Wille. Be pain free and with all your friends and relatives playing cards and dominos! Celebration of JoAnne's life will be at Harquist Funeral Home Chapel, Pipestone, Minnesota, August 4, 12:30-1:30 visitation and Memorial service 1:30.
