Yanda, Debra Jean (Minichilli) Age 65, of Edina, passed away June 1st 2018. Preceded in death by father Bernard and sister Wendy. She was born in Minneapolis October 19th, 1952 and graduated from Edina High School in 1970. She graduated from the University of Minnesota where she was a Gamma Phi Beta and known by all her sisters as "Chilli." To her grandkids and those dear to her she was affectionately known as Nona. She loved her family with all her heart. Some of her favorite times were spent with Steve entertaining family and friends at their house for Holidays where she would make the famous Minichilli family pizza. She also loved spending time with her family up at the cabin at Beautiful Big Lake. She made Big Lake extra special by spoiling her family with homemade banana bread for the mornings. Nona will be missed very much by all her friends and family. Survived by loving husband Steve of 42 years, mother Charmaine, son Rob (Kellie) Yanda; daughter Anne (Brian) Silver and Peter (Lexy) Yanda; sisters Pam (Karl) Haakonson and Jill (Mike) Greenan; brother Todd (Lisa) Minichilli. Grandchildren, Mollie, Audrie and Stephen Yanda; Julia and Caroline Silver. Funeral Service Thursday, June 7 at 3:00pm at Church of St. Patrick; 6820 St Patrick's Ln, Edina.
