Di Lauro, Judith Kay (Peterson)

Mom passed away shortly after midnight on Mother's Day, 2018.  She was a loving mother and dedicated friend who cared so much for others.  Judy was born on October 30th, 1948 in Minneapolis, MN, the first born to Leonard and Lorraine Peterson.  She is survived by her children, Patrick Di Lauro and Kimberly Di Lauro Rief, son-in-law Keith Rief, Great Aunt Clarice Oswald (Auntie), brother Steven Peterson (Jan), sisters Kathy Klug (William) and Terri Peterson, nephew Nathan Peterson, nieces Kristin Lockwood (Chad), Nikki Gullick (Patrick), Lindsay Strot (Jason), great nieces Emmy and Izzy Lockwood, great niece Ally and great nephew Logan Gullick  and great nieces Penny and Gemma  Strot.  Mom also held much love for family members Ione Nelson, Linda Rief, Kelly Saba, Katarina Saba, John Maure Saba, Tracy Graves, Nicole Graves, and Julie Moore.   Judy so loved her family and friends, especially talking to them on the phone and spending time with them.  She always wanted to know how everyone was doing.  Mom will be missed by so many!    Judy worked for many years in purchasing for the Wayzata School district.  She made many close friends there and especially loved the luncheons where she would bring her buttery garlic bread, the Christmas Secret Santas, and the yearly football picks! Judy will be remembered for her smile, her heart of gold, her love of cooking, her famous olives tarts,  her interest in Princess Diana and family and her love for the Minnesota Vikings! Service of Resurrection will be held on Saturday June 16th, at 11:00 am followed by a luncheon. 

Vikings attire and jerseys suggested! Please let us know if your need any purple or gold attire!

Visitation at St. Phillip the Deacon will be one hour prior to the service.
