Henry was born to Walter and Victoria Czupryna on February 27, 1931. In 1950, he graduated from Vocational High School and headed off to serve in the Korean War. He was stationed in Germany where he was an avid baseball and football player. After the war, he settled back down in Northeast, Minneapolis where he grew his family under his proud Polish heritage. Henry and his wife, Jean, continue to own and operate Dinsmore Dry Cleaners and Launderers after the family purchase in 1955. In 2009, he was inducted into the East Side Old Timers' Athletic Hall of Fame after his many years playing baseball and softball "under the lights" where the entire family was able to watch him into his late 50's! Henry spent many weekends at their cabin in Balsam Lake, Wisconsin where he loved having family around him often recounting his many snow-mobiling and bare-foot skiing adventures, not to mention the late- night boat rides. Henry will always be remembered for his talent as an athlete and businessman, and especially for his spectacular Christmas light display that has lit up his neighborhood over the holiday season for years. The tradition will continue on while reminding family and friends that his light will continue to shine on his forever home in Heaven. The family expresses their deepest gratitude to Janie and to Alina Hospice for their loving care for Henry.
