Alan Douglas Grahn

Grahn, Alan Douglas Age 75, of Minneapolis. Accidentally on May 9. Preceded in death by mother Caroline, father Archie, brother John, and niece Katie. Survived by wife Nancy, son Andy (Heather), daughter Adrienne (Kevin), grandsons Albie, Marcel and Joaquin, sister Barb, brother Dale (Robin), nieces Caroline, Annika and Emma, nephew Augie, and many, many close and wonderful friends. Skilled philosopher, climber, skier, runner, and biker, proud beer and coffee snob. Conquered El Capitan, skied many Birkies, climbed and hiked around the world and made friends wherever he went. He was smart, funny, loving, irreverent, and a consummate outdoorsman. Memorial gathering June 3 at Theodore Wirth Park Chalet 1-4 pm. Memorials to an outdoor or environmental charity preferred.
