Kabis, Nancy (Stelzer) (10/22/70 - 2/17/18) Nancy, surrounded by her family, died from a rare connective tissue disorder at the age of 47. She grew up in Minne-tonka, attending St. Joseph's and BSM. In 1992 she graduated from the College of St. Benedict with a BA in education. Since then she has been a beloved K-1 teacher at Cedar Ridge in Eden Prairie. We are humbled by the outpouring of love and care shown by friends, our Cedar Ridge family and the staff at Abbott Northwestern. Nancy will be missed by husband, Michael; daughters, Malia & Olivia; in-laws, Marge & Chuck Kabis; parents, Ernie & Mary Stelzer; sister, Katy (Jeff) Anderson; brother, Tim (Becky Mead) Stelzer; and nieces and nephews, Ben, Maddie, Emme, Daniel, Andrew & Sarah. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, March 2 at Pax Christi, Eden Prairie at 11:00 AM. Visitation at 9:30 AM. Guests are invited to wear a bow.
