Ronald Keith Finwall, 85, of Maplewood, MN passed away of natural causes on February 19, 2018. Artist, intellectual, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather. A one of a kind individual, Ronald will be deeply missed by his family and everyone he befriended and helped throughout his life. Born in Brooten, MN, Ronald studied art at Hamline University and Claremont Graduate School before being drafted into the Korean War. He did things his own way. Never stopped learning, and never stopped creating. He had a big heart, and a crazy sense of humor. He created beautiful, provocative artwork, and cared greatly for his family. Survived by wife Beverly, daughters Shann and Alyce, son Scott, grandchildren Mitchell, Nicholas, Halli, Ella, Solveig, Zia, Alex, Louis, great grandchildren Cole, Piper, Cameron, Christian, Annalee, Eva, brother Wayne and many more individuals who looked up to him and loved him.
