Bernard A. 'Barney' Ostertag

Ostertag, Bernard A. "Barney" Age 80 of Hampton, former owner of Rosemount Cement, Inc., died peacefully Feb. 20, 2018. Barney is survived by his wife Kay; six children, Tim (Bev) Ostertag, of Prior Lake, Teresa (Paul) Marxen, of Bird Island, Andy (Starr) Ostertag, of New Trier, Chris (Kathy) Ostertag, of Shakopee, Lee (Amy) Ostertag, of Oro Valley, AZ, & Laura Ostertag, of Maplewood; seventeen grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two siblings, Liz (Marv) Vinje, of Lakeville & George (Joanne) Ostertag, of Hemet, CA; & numerous other relatives & friends. Barney was preceded in death by his parents, nine siblings, and a granddaughter. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 a.m. Sat. (2/24) at St. Mary's Catholic Church ~ New Trier, 8433 239th St. E., Hampton. Interment will follow at the parish cemetery. Visitation will be held 4 to 7PM Fri. at Caturia, Smidt & Starkson Funeral Home & Crematory, 201 E. 7th St., Hastings, & will continue for 1 hr prior to Mass at church on Sat.
