Deloris V. (Dee) Anderson

Anderson, Deloris V. (Dee) Age 89, of St. Louis Park, passed away peacefully on February 10. She is preceded in death by parents Clare and Sarah Cunningham, sister Elaine Gates, and husband David. She is survived by her 3 children: Scott (Veronica) Anderson of Marietta, GA, Joan (Dale) Forde of Golden Valley, MN, John (Kristin) Anderson of Avon, OH, her 2 grandchildren Luke and Grace Anderson, sisters Francelle and Pat, many nieces, nephews, godchildren, and her companion Jim for the past 19 years. Memorial service will be held on February 28 at 11 am at Minnetonka United Methodist Church. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior and lunch will be served following. In lieu of flowers, family has requested memorials to Minnetonka United Methodist Church. Dee held various administrative assistant positions over her career and she retired from Target. Dee has had a love of music her entire life from playing saxophone in high school, performing in marching and jazz bands, she loved the sound of the big bands, and was a ballroom dancer up until the last couple of years. Her greatest love was her family and the joy that a simple phone call would bring her or a card in the mail that she would read over and over and over. She was also blessed with many friends. She thought Life was Good.
