Goldberg, Harold "Red" age 93, passed away peacefully January 10th at his home in St. Louis Park. Red served in the Air Force during WWII and was a lifelong member of the VFW. Red divided his time between his love for fishing and Red's Roost, (Blues Alley) the bar he ran for over 30 years on Glenwood Avenue in Minneapolis. He was known for his generosity and lending a helping hand to those in need. Preceded in death by son, Michael; and brothers, Albert and Benjamin Goldberg. Survived by loving wife of 71 years, Rivia; daughters, Jacque (Grant) Rosenau and Sandi Pendergast; daughter-in-law, Patt Goldberg; brothers, Henry Berg and David (Darlene) Goldberg. Funeral service SUNDAY, JANUARY 14TH, 1:00 PM, UNITED HEBREW BROTHERHOOD CEMETERY CHAPEL, 2605 W. 70 1/2 Street, Richfield. Memorials preferred to Jewish Family & Children's Service of Minneapolis.
