Crawford, Nancy Lawyer (Dobbs) 5/27/40-12/31/17 Nancy took one last walk around the Galleria Edina with her cup of Starbucks before leaving to join her beloved daughter Kelly Anne Camp Murray who preceded her in death. She graduated from Sacred Heart High School in Memphis, TN, received her BS in Sociology from Kansas State University, and completed her Master in Business Communications at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN. She was a loving and generous mother and grandmother, a thoughtful friend, a consignment store shopping pro, master negotiator, jewelry maker, executive assistant, lover of the arts, and a poet. She brought joy and cheer to everyone she met. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her surviving children Billy Murray (Dr. Stacey) of Memphis, TN, Susan Murray Williams of Memphis, TN, Lisa Marie Murray of St. Louis Park, MN, and Chris Crawford (Michelle) of Irving, TX; her siblings Gerry Dobbs Clemmons (Byard) of Hot Springs, AR, Thomas Matthew Dobbs (Peggy) of Olive Branch, MS, and Cathy Dobbs Harrell of Memphis, TN; 9 grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents James Edward Dobbs, Jr and Marguerite Alfreda Cotter Dobbs of Memphis and her brother James Edward Dobbs of Selma, AL. Per her wishes she will be cremated by Washburn-McReavy Edina with private celebrations of her life held in Edina and later in Memphis. Many thanks to the ER staff of Fairview Southdale Hospital.
