Lorence, Eleanor Ann Beloved mother and best friend went to be with the Lord Tuesday, January 2, 2018, shortly before her 83rd birthday. A strong, courageous woman who valiginantly fought medical issues with grace and a beautiful smile. Sincere appreciation to Dr's Daniel Miller and Gregory Hannon for their expertise, compassion, and willingness to treat a debalitating condition. Having worked in the food service industry her entire life, starting with the Radisson Hotel in the 60's, later with Kenny's Market in Edina, Jubilee Foods on Penn, and Rainbow Foods of Bloomington, until her retirement in 2014. "There is no greater love than the love of cooking. One always cooks for another." - Chef Jacques Pepin. Her work was her passion and she loved all the people she met along the way. Survived by loving daughter, Anne Lorence, many family and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 AM on Saturday, Jan. 13, 2018 at the Church of St. Patrick's (6820 St. Patrick's Ln, Edina, MN) with visitation one hour before the service.
