Bangs, Doris M. Age 90, of Edina, passed away peacefully in her home on December 7, 2017. Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Clayton; her son, Michael; her parents, Ernest & Elvera Kirchoff; her brother, Roy and sister, Ann. Doris was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She was kind, compassionate and loving. She had a wonderful sense of humor. She loved animals, particularly cats, chocolate, getting her hair done weekly at the salon and eating at Olive Garden, Perkins and most of all, Red Lobster. Heaven became a sweeter and more wonderful and loving place upon her arrival. She is survived by her daughter, Linda and her husband, Tom (Merry); her son, Jeff and his wife Stephanie; her granddaughters, Sara (Blessing), Marie (Blessing), Christy Merry and her husband Thomas Rehbein, Nicole and her husband, Christopher (Merry), Rachel (Merry); and great granddaughters, Michaela (Merry) and Mary Rose (Blessing). Funeral service is Saturday, January 6th at 11:00 AM at Church of St. Patrick Edina, 6820 St Patricks Ln, Edina, MN 55439 with visitation/gathering one hour prior to the service.
