Tomczik, Sandra A. (Cruzen) Age 74, of Medicine Lake, MN died on December 22nd, 2017 peacefully surrounded by her family, after a long struggle with Alzheimer's. A beloved wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, sister, and friend to many. Sandy was born and raised in St. Cloud, MN to Edwin and LaVerne (Stoldoka) Cruzen. Sandy's first love was her family. She brought much joy and happiness to any room she entered. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, dinners with family, traveling, dancing, pontooning on Medicine Lake, reading, and was a wonderful hostess. Sandy is preceded in death by her son, John, her parents, and her sister, Shirley. She was a much loved wife to Ron Tomczik for 52 years, a wonderful mother to Sue (Pat) Hall, Paul (Jane), and Amy (Justin) Quiram and her nine cherished grandchildren, Alison, Ryan, and Maria Hall, Joseph, Anthony, and Lauren Tomczik, Andrew, Abby, and Ava Quiram; siblings, Rick, Mary, Mike, and Shari. Mass of Christian Burial will be on January 8th at 11am Church of St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Church, 105 Forestview Lane N, Plymouth with a visitation beginning at 10am. Interment at St. John's Abbey Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to be donated to Edgemont Place Alzheimer's Special Care Center, University of St John's/College of St. Benedict or Health Partners Alzheimer's Research Center.
