Uranowitz, Seymour William Born July 6, 1951 in Newark, NJ and died peacefully on December 20, 2017 at N.C. Little Hospice in Edina, MN. Seymour received his undergraduate degree in psychology at the University of California, Berkeley and continued his graduate work in social psychology at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, where he also taught. During his career, he worked at Control Data, Personnel Decisions International Corp, and most recently, United Health Group of Minnetonka. Survived by his life partner of 40 years, Jan Bobrowske; brother, Kenneth Uranowitz (Jayne); sister, Vivien Silber (Art) and several nieces and nephews. Seymour was a brilliant, articulate, and engaging man who enjoyed life to the fullest. He loved movies, music, comedy, and the Minnesota Lynx. Despite poor health, he embraced life's challenges by continuing to work part time and to support the arts. He was a warrior to the end, and an example of courage for all.
