Jessie Cohen, 57, known around the world as the "panda photographer" for the hundreds of images she shot of the animals at the National Zoo in Washington, died Oct. 24 of breast cancer in Silver Spring, Md. Cohen, a photographer with the Smithsonian Institution zoo since 1979, shot millions of images of a range of animals that were published worldwide. WASHINGTON POST
