The Lowry Av. bridge: time for change

In 2004, engineers discovered that one of the piers of the Lowry Avenue Bridge had shifted. The bridge was closed for a year while new bearings were installed, and it’s being monitored monthly as plans for a new bridge move forward. Here's a look at the current bridge and the proposed new design.
