INSIDE THE NEW CLIMATE SERVICE
The NOAA Climate Service will provide a one-stop shop for users across the nation in much the same way NOAA's National Weather Service provides weather information.
The service will provide advice on how global warming is predicted to affect everything from drought to sea levels. For example, it might help ski operators determine where they might want to refocus their activities in light of changing snowfall patterns and farmers decide which crops will need increased irrigation.
