A house fire in Dallas kills a couple and their 5-year-old son, officials investigate cause

DALLAS - Authorities say an early morning blaze swept through a house in Dallas, killing a couple and their 5-year-old son.

Dallas Fire-Rescue spokesman Jason Evans says the fire on Thursday apparently got into a stairwell and quickly moved to the second floor of the home.

The Dallas County medical examiner's office says the victims were a man, a woman and a child, but did not release their identities.
