TSA employees worked to classify luggage to return to passengers at Los Angeles International Airport’s Terminal 3. When gunfire rang out on Friday, passengers ran for their lives and abandoned luggage as armed police ordered them to hit the floor.
Police officers patrolled on Saturday. Patrick Gannon, the chief of the Los Angeles Airport Police Department, said, “We will remain vigilant.”
