Thousands win cash, but nobody hit the jackpot in Wednesday's Powerball drawing

Jackpot grows to $42 million for Saturday's drawing

The good news for Powerball players is that more than 363,300 people won some cash in Wednesday's drawing, but nobody won the $32 million grand prize.
As a result, the jackpot for Saturday's drawing will grow to an estimated $42 million.
Even though the grand prize was not hit Wednesday evening, a ticket holder in Louisiana matched all 5 white ball numbers with the Power Play bonus to collect $600,000, while another ticket holder in Wisconsin who didn't hit the power play option won $200,000.
The winning numbers Wednesday were 8, 32, 41, 54 and 55, with the Powerball 20.
The next drawing takes place at 9:59 p.m. Central Time Saturday.
