DRUMMOND, WIS. - A truck and all-terrain vehicle collided head-on Saturday in northern Wisconsin, killing a boy and injuring his father.

Benjamin Delain, 11, of Green Bay, Wis., was driving the ATV west on Tars Pond Road in Drummond on Saturday afternoon when he cut to the inside of a curve and hit a pickup truck, according to the Bayfield County Sheriff's Office.

The boy was taken to a hospital in Duluth, where he died that night.

His passenger and father, Peter Delain, was also taken there, but the Sheriff's Office did not specify the extent of his injuries.

The truck's driver, Martin Thyssen, 39, of Neenah, Wis., and his passenger, Craig Sherer, of Menasha, Wis., were not injured.
