"I was in England a few years ago doing Shakespeare when that first album of hers ["Frank"] came out, and nobody in this country knows about it. It's fantastic. I've been trumpeting her ever since. She's so strong and so honest with a jazzy style and raw lyrics. Everyone can identify with her songs about loving someone and not having them love you back. I've never heard anything like her."
