Many households in Mounds View were briefly without water Sunday morning after a water- main break disrupted the city's water supply.
Ramsey County dispatch received about 460 calls from people affected between 11:15 and 11:45 a.m. Sunday, according to Randy Gustafson, public information officer for the county.
The Mounds View Public Works and Public Safety departments were notified, and water pressure was restored at around noon, according to Gustafson.
The cause of the problem had not been determined as of mid-afternoon Sunday, and representatives from Mounds View could not be reached.
