The Gophers women's hockey team will play No. 3 Wisconsin, which has already clinched the WCHA regular-season title, at 7 p.m. Friday and 3 p.m. Saturday at Ridder Arena.

No. 3 Minnesota (27-3-1, 22-3-1 WCHA) had an 18-game unbeaten streak against the Badgers until losing 3-2 in overtime and 3-1 in early December in Madison, Wis.

Wisconsin goalie Ann-Renee Desbiens lead the nation with a 0.61 goals-against average, a .966 save percentage and 16 shutouts. The Badgers (30-1-1, 24-1-1-1), led by sophomore forward Annie Pankowski with 19 goals and 50 points, have outscored opponents 127-18.

Minnesota has a 31-game unbeaten streak (28-0-3) at home.

U diver wins

Yu Zhou, a junior from Wuhan, China, repeated as the 1-meter diving champion Thursday night in the Big Ten women's and diving championships in Columbus, Ohio. She totaled 352.45 points.

Brooke Zeigler placed sixth in the 500-yard freestyle (4:40.38) on Day 2 of the meet while the Gophers' 200 freestyle relay took fifth (1:29.72).

Gophers' final home dual

The No. 17 Gophers wrestling team (9-8) will host No. 14 Iowa State (10-5) at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Williams Arena in the NWCA Division I national championship duals series.

This is the final regular-season match for Minnesota, which is 7-1 at home.
