Greetings. Youngblood here.

The Wild held an up-tempo, special teams-heavy practice Wednesday at St. Thomas Academy before racing back to Xcel Energy Center, showering and packing and heading to the airport.

Wild coach Todd Richards said winger Antti Miettinen passed his test and should play tomorrow in Atlanta. It's not clear how much, or on what line, he will play. Richards hinted Tuesday that he is reluctant to take Cal Clutterbuck off the line with Mikko Koivu and Andrew Brunette after the way they played in their last game.

Defenseman Marek Zidlicky did some early skating on his own and took part in a few light, early drills with the team. Richards said he didn't know if Zidlicky would play tomorrow. Indeed, he didn't even know, right after practice, whether Zidlicky would make the trip. Richards was going to make that decision after returning to the X and talking to the trainer.

Center Cody Almond was recalled from the Houston Aeros and was going to meet the team in Atlanta. The Aeros played in British Columbia last night, which means he had a lot of traveling ahead of him. Richards said the team might make another callup this afternoon.

That's about it. Get back to you later.
