The Metro Transit website is back in business. The site used by 7 million people to plan trips and by 49.2 million to get real time departure information by NexTrip has been down for about 3 hours.

Here is the earlier post from this morning:

Riders attempting to check NexTrip or get information off the Metro Transit website are having difficulty. A tweet from the agency says its site and that of the Met Council is experiencing and unforseen issue.

Those trying to access the www.metrotransit.org are getting the following message: "All links from Google result in 404 error."

Metro Transit says it's working to get things back to normal ASAP.

The transit information center's phone service is unaffected. Route information is available at 612-373-3333.
