See large-scale military demonstrations throughout the day and explore Minnesota's oldest military fort. They will visit 11 other cemeteries before the 12:30 ceremony at the veterans memorial.

Ceremony starts at 10:30 a.m. near the Soldiers Memorial monument, with a commemoration of the 150th anniversary of the Battle of Gettysburg and the key role Minnesotans played in the Union victory. There will be a reading of Lincoln's Gettysburg Address, music by the Minneapolis Police Band and a dove release.
