Star Tribune Top Workplaces highlights the most progressive and supportive employers in the state. Now in its fifth year, the Top Workplaces program uses employee survey results to determine outstanding businesses.
Companies that participate receive invaluable feedback from employees through research conducted by our partner WorkplaceDynamics, an independent HR metrics firm. Surveys will measure whether employees feel appreciated, if they are confident about their future with the company, if your organization is going in the right direction, along with other measures to help us determine the area's Top Workplaces for 2014. More than 1.5 million Star Tribune and StarTribune.com readers will see our list of selected companies, and companies can use the designation in marketing and recruitment efforts all year long.
If you'd like to nominate your company or a company you work with, visit StarTribune.com/nominate or call 612.605.3306 by February 21, 2014.

Promote your business in a unique way and earn advertising credits at the same time using Golden Gavel. With strong promotional support, this Star Tribune program shines a bright light on participating local advertisers.
Golden Gavel is an online bidding event that generates excitement within the StarTribune.com community. Local advertisers trade goods or services for the chance to earn Star Tribune advertising credit. Consumers bid on these items in the Golden Gavel event at StarTribune.com. When items sell, regardless of bid price, advertisers receive the full retail value in advertising credits. (Items that do not sell are simply retained by the advertiser.) The advertiser benefits from the promotion of Golden Gavel and no additional fees apply. Based on past years, nearly 90% of all advertisers sell at least one item.
Golden Gavel is heavily supported with digital and print promotion, and a promotional catalog showcasing advertisers' items is inserted in the Star Tribune on the first day of bidding, reaching more than half a million local shoppers. Held twice each year, the next Golden Gavel event will be held March 23 - 31, 2014. Deadline to participate is February 7, 2014.
