Comedy fans praying nightly for the return of Louis C.K. on "Louie" have been partly appeased by FX's "Baskets," which C.K. produces, and "Horace and Pete," the streaming series that gave its few, but loyal, viewers entry into the seedier side of "Cheers."

While there's no sign that new episodes of "Louie" are on horizon, there is some good news: The landscape's best comic is going back on the road in a tour that includes a stop in Minneapolis.

C.K. has been so unpredictable lately, we wouldn't have surprised if he had announced a pop-up gig at Turtle Bread Company. As it turns out, he'll be performing at the Target Center -- with ample time to plan your schedule.

The show is scheduled for Aug. 2 with $25-$65 tickets on sale immediately. Go to or call 1-888-9-AXS-TIX.
