Definition: Posting every single thing your child ever does on social media.

Sample usage: "No one beats her when it comes to sharenting, but that shouldn't be a surprise to anyone who got a tweet with a picture of the placenta."

Popularity: The word sounds like it should refer to joint custody, but it's aimed at those who can't stop posting stuff about the kids. You suspect it was coined by those who tire of parents unable to put down the digital megaphone, but you know it'll be embraced by people who regard telling every little cutesy and/or wootsy detail as a public service.

Chance of catching on: High "like"-lihood.
