A woman was shot in the chest late Friday night and Carver County deputies were investigating.
Authorities were called to a home in the 4800 block of state Hwy. 25, just outside of Watertown, Minn., shortly after 10 p.m. on a report of a woman down with the chest wound.
There were no immediate arrests, said Chief Deputy Jason Kamerud of the Carver County Sheriff's Office.
No information was available on the condition of the woman, who was taken by ambulance to Hennepin County Medical Center.
