It's been a rough stretch for Grizzlies

Preview: The Grizzlies (19-54) have lost four games in a row and 23 of 24 after Saturday's 100-93 home loss to the Lakers. They ended a 19-losing streak with a 101-94 home victory over Denver on March 17. That streak is the longest in the NBA this season by eight games and tied for second-longest in franchise history. … The Grizzlies' 140-79 loss Thursday at Charlotte was the largest margin of defeat in their history. It was only the sixth 60-point loss in NBA history and the first since February 1998. … Former Wolves assistant coach J.B. Bickerstaff is 12-42 in his second time as an interim head coach. The former Gophers player coached 71 games for Houston in the 2015-16 and led the Rockets to the playoffs after replacing the fired Kevin McHale. The Grizzlies promoted him after firing David Fizdale in November. … The teams have met only once so far, with Memphis winning 95-92 at home Dec. 4. The Grizzlies come back to Target Center on April 9, the Wolves' second-to-last game this season.

Players to watch: Memphis star PG Mike Conley hasn't played since November because of a heel injury and while he has been sidelined, C Marc Gasol passed him in December as the franchise's all-time leading scorer and in January as its all-time leader in minutes played. … The Grizzlies are 0-21 when G Tyreke Evans does not play, and he is listed as out Monday because of "personal reasons."

Injuries: Wolves G Derrick Rose (sprained ankle) has missed the past two games and his status will be re-evaluated Monday. G Jimmy Butler remains out indefinitely after knee surgery last month, but he posted on Instagram Saturday video of him shooting at Target Center, saying he'll be back "soon." Besides Conley and Evans, Memphis has listed F Chandler Parsons (knee) and F Ivan Babb (heel) as out as well.
