The Wild will hold what it hopes to become an annual Fan Fest prior to the first round of the NHL Draft on Friday, June 24.

It will take place from 12 to 5 p.m. CT at the Crowne Plaza St. Paul Riverfront located at 11 East Kellogg Boulevard in downtown St. Paul.

The event will feature attractions for hockey fans of all ages.
Highlights of the Minnesota Wild Fan Fest include:

* State of Hockey Exhibit Hall featuring autographs, hockey exhibits and interactive hockey games

* Breakout sessions and autographs with hockey dignitaries covering a wide range of topics

* The Warming House Theater will show two critically acclaimed hockey films: "The Code – The Unwritten Rules of Fighting and Retaliation in the NHL" and "Pond Hockey – A Documentary Film"


Hockey dignitaries scheduled to appear include*: Gary Bettman, Brian Bonin, Scotty Bowman, Karyn Bye-Dietz, Jack Carlson, Tom Chorske, Cal Clutterbuck, Mikael Granlund, John Harrington, Darby Hendrickson, Phil Housley, Willard Ikola, Antti Laaksonen, Craig Leipold, Gigi Marvin, Brad Maxwell, Lou Nanne, J.P. Parise, Shjon Podein, Tom Reid, Brad Staubitz, Clayton Stoner, Wes Walz and Doug Woog.

General public Fan Fest tickets are $20 and can be purchased exclusively on www.wild.com starting on Wednesday, June 1. Tickets can also be purchased on June 24 starting at 11 a.m. at the Crowne Plaza St. Paul Riverfront. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Minnesota Wild Foundation.

There will be an immense amount of other events going on near the X that day.

The times still have to be determined, but there will also be an NHL Draft Street Festival at Rice Park and 4th Street on June 24, as well as an Entry Draft Card/Memorabilia Show at Xcel Energy Center from 5-6:30 p.m. June 24.

The first round of the NHL Draft starts at 7 p.m. June 24. The second through seventh rounds take place June 25 starting at 10 a.m.

The Entry Draft Card/Memorabilia Show will also be at 8 a.m.-1 p.m. June 25.
