Preview: The Wild has followed a 12-1-1 December with an 8-2-1 January heading into Thursday's final game before the All-Star break. The Wild leads the Western Conference with 67 points in 47 games. Before this season, the earliest the Wild had that many points was after Game 57 in 2002-03. The Wild, 4-1-2 in its past seven at home against St. Louis, is 1-1-1 against the Blues this season. The Blues, coming off a 3-0 win in Pittsburgh, have lost five of eight.

Players to watch: G Devan Dubnyk is expected to start for Minnesota. In his past 10 starts, he is 8-2 with a 2.79 goals-against average and .901 save percentage. RW Mikael Granlund has a career-best eight-game point streak and 26 points in the past 23 games, tied for third-most in the NHL since Dec. 7. His 40 points are tied with C Eric Staal for most on the team. LW Zach Parise has no goals and two assists in the past nine games. RW Charlie Coyle has one goal in the past 14 games. Blues star Vladimir Tarasenko, who scored six goals in six playoff games against the Wild in 2015, is tied for 12th with 20 goals. C Paul Stastny leads the Blues with 37 points in 57 games against the Wild.

Numbers: The Blues rank 30th in the NHL with an .890 save percentage and 25th with a 3.04 goals-against average; the Wild is tied for first (.926) and is second (2.26). … The Wild is tied for the second-fewest regulation losses (11).
