The Wild has won 10 of its past 11 at home, but it is 3-3-2 on the road. The Wild is 5-4-3 all-time vs. Montreal, including 2-2-2 in Quebec. Montreal has scored three goals the past three games and 18 the past 11 (4-5-2). The Canadiens are 2-4-2 this month; the Wild is 7-0-1 this month.

Players to watch: Wild G Josh Harding, 12-2-2 overall, looks to extend his 11-game streak of leading his team to at least a point. He is 9-0-2 since Oct. 17, a Wild goaltending record. LW Zach Parise has scored six goals and seven assists in the past 12 games. C Mikko Koivu has three goals and nine points in the past six games. RW Jason Pominville, a Quebec native, has 32 points in 50 all-time games against Montreal. P.K. Subban of Montreal ranks second among NHL defensemen with 17 points. G Carey Price is sixth in the NHL with a 2.05 goals-against average and fourth with a .936 save percentage.

Numbers: The Wild ranks second in the NHL with 1.95 goals allowed per game; the Canadiens rank third with (2.05). The Wild ranks 19th with 2.52 goals scored per game; the Canadiens rank 21st (2.43).

Injuries: Wild G Niklas Backstrom (concussion) and D Keith Ballard (broken ribs) are out. Canadiens D Davis Drewiske (shoulder) is out.
