This map of where people run in Minneapolis is not terribly surprising since the dark areas you see represent pretty much everywhere we've ever run in the city (and will continue to run once it gets above, say, 40 degrees again on a regular basis).
The map was created by the good folks at Flowing Data using stats from RunKeeper.com, and it has been picked up by a few places, including Deadspin. As a result, it seems as though their server isn't working so well right now. So here is the map of Minneapolis via Deadspin:
