Blake School sets session for familiesThe Blake School will hold a session for prospective Lower School parents on Dec. 6.

The sessions for pre-kindergarten through fifth-grade will take place from 9-11:30 a.m. at the Highcroft Campus, 301 Peavey Lane, Wayzata. Parents can learn more about the campus, classes and staff.

A financial aid program will also be held at 9 a.m. Dec. 15 at Blake's Hopkins campus, 110 Blake Road S., to discuss need-based financial assistance, which is awarded to nearly 20 percent of the student body.

Parent meeting scheduling onlineEden Prairie High School parents can schedule teacher conferences online this year.

The conferences will take place from 4-8 p.m. Dec. 11 and Dec. 13. The online site to schedule an appointment will be open starting Friday through Dec. 3.

Blessed Trinity hosts St. Nicholas PartyBlessed Trinity Catholic School is hosting a St. Nicholas Party on Dec. 7 for all preschool and kindergarten students.

High schools honored for innovationJefferson and Kennedy high schools have been selected Division Star of Innovation winners by the Minnesota Association of Secondary School Principals.

The award recognizes innovative programs that use creativity and imagination to achieve a positive impact. The two Bloomington schools were honored for a homeroom-based academic seminar that gives students one-on-one help from teachers.
