Disturbance. Officers responded to a report of a disturbance at a home in the 7800 block of Maple Hill Road. The caller reported hearing banging coming from the home. Officers found the homeowner was installing new flooring.

AUG. 1

Theft. Thimbles valued at $300 were stolen from the 6400 block of Barrie Road.

AUG. 6

Weapon. A 23-year-old man was arrested for carrying a pistol without a license following a traffic stop in the 5900 block of Crosstown Hwy. 62.

LORETTO

AUG. 2

Missing person. A 10-year-old girl was reported missing from the 100 block of Chippewa Road. Her family had been walking home and the girl took a different route. A Hennepin County Sheriff's deputy located the girl near the intersection of Hwy. 55 and County Road 19.

MEDINA

AUG. 1

Theft. A worker in the 100 block of Westfalen Trail reported that his bicycle had been stolen. When officers arrived, he told them that he had called his mother and learned she had picked up the bike because he had left it unlocked.

AUG. 5

Drugs. A 23-year-old Hanover woman was cited for possession of marijuana and speeding after she was stopped for speeding at Hwy. 55 and Mohawk Drive.

AUG. 10

Fire. Officers responded to a report of smoke along Creekview Circle. They found it was dust kicked up by the wind.

PLYMOUTH

AUG. 4

Theft. Three 17-year-old boys were arrested for motor vehicle theft at 51st Avenue N. and Schmidt Lake Road.

AUG. 5

Underage consumption. Officers responded to a report of a disturbance in the 18300 block of 48th Avenue N. A 16-year-old boy was cited for underage consumption.

RICHFIELD

AUG. 20

Disturbance. Officers responded to a report of a disturbance in the parking lot of the American Legion, 6501 Portland Av. S. A 48-year-old Minneapolis man was cited for disorderly conduct and taken to the hospital.

Drunken driving. A 25-year-old Richfield woman was arrested for drunken driving, open bottle and driving after cancellation after driving through grass in the area of W. 76th Street and Penn Avenue S.

SHOREWOOD

AUG. 5

Missing person. A man reported that his wife was missing after going to pick her up from her appointment at Hairazors Salon on Hwy. 7. An officer located her nearby inside the Dollar Tree.

AUG. 6

Drugs. A 31-year-old Excelsior man was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, marijuana and drug paraphernalia, and driving after revocation, after he was stopped for an equipment violation on Smithtown Road.

TONKA BAY

AUG. 5

Theft. A 57-year-old woman reported the theft of jewelry valued at $20,000 from her bedroom at a home at Lake-view Avenue and Cedar Street.

WACONIA

AUG. 7

Drunken driving. An 18-year-old Cologne man was arrested for drunken driving and possession of a controlled substance following a traffic stop in the 1200 block of Oak Avenue.
