JUNE 19

Noise complaint. An officer responded to a report of a resident blasting loud music and honking the horn on his vehicle at a home in the 21400 block of County Road 10. The man told the officer that his dog was trained to return home with three honks of the horn.

INDEPENDENCE

JUNE 21

Suspicious vehicle. Officers responded to a report of a vehicle that was frequently stopping along the shoulder of the road for what appeared to be photographs in the 7300 block of County Road 11. When they located the vehicle, the driver admitted to being a bird enthusiast and enjoying watching the birds.

JUNE 25

Animal complaint. A resident reported finding a fawn near the road in the 2300 block of Fieldstone Place and bringing it home. The resident was advised to release it or take it to a wildlife rehabilitation center.

JUNE 28

Animal complaint. A resident reported that a peacock had been in her yard most of the day in the 3700 block of Marsh Point Road. Before an officer arrived, the peacock reportedly flew to the top of her house, vomited and then flew away. The officer was unable to locate the peacock, and the resident was advised to call back if the bird returned and created any issues.

MAPLE PLAIN

JUNE 21

Disturbance. A resident from the 5200 block of Manchester Drive reported that a neighbor had yelled at her. Officers spoke to both parties, who agreed to stop yelling at each other.

JUNE 28

Assist public. A woman from the 1500 block of Howard Avenue reported that a ring was stuck on her swollen finger. The ring was cut off.

MEDINA

JUNE 21

Animal complaint. A resident in the 1200 block of Phillips Drive reported that six of her chickens had been missing for three days. The resident believed they may have been stolen.

RICHFIELD

JUNE 25

Disorderly conduct. Officers responded to a report of a disturbance in the 6300 block of Nicollet Avenue S. A 28-year-old Richfield man was arrested for disorderly conduct and obstructing the legal process.

JUNE 28

Drunken driving. A 24-year-old Richfield man was arrested for drunken driving after officers observed two vehicles racing down side roads at 70th Street and Harriet Avenue S.

JUNE 29

Theft. Officers responded to a report of an intoxicated man leaving the bar without paying his tab at Pizza Luce, 800 W. 66th St. They located the 38-year-old Richfield man, who was cited for theft.

JUNE 30

Assault. Officers responded to a report of an assault in the 7300 block of Cedar Avenue S. A 56-year-old Richfield woman was cited for disorderly conduct.

SHOREWOOD

JUNE 26

Noise complaint. Someone reported hearing a beeping sound on Star Lane. Officers located a smoke detector in a trash can.

WACONIA

JUNE 18

Drunken driving. A 27-year-old Waconia man was arrested for drunken driving and possession of drugs following a traffic stop at Olive Street S. and 3rd Street E.
