Drunken driving: A male was arrested for drunken driving after his vehicle was found stuck in the snow at 2nd Street W. and Elm Street. He had a blood alcohol content of 0.28.

FEB. 3

Theft: A 2012 Chevrolet Silverado valued at $54,000 was stolen from the Perkins parking lot, 4917 Eden Av.

INDEPENDENCE

JAN. 7

Assistance: A woman reported that her daughter had locked her keys in her vehicle on the 5100 block of Fern Drive. An officer was able to open the door.

JAN. 9

Assistance: A woman called police because she was locked out of her house on the 3800 block of Lake Haughey Road. A locksmith was able to unlock the door.

JAN. 12

Suspicious vehicle: Officers observed a man and woman standing outside a stopped vehicle on County Roads 6 and 90 at 11:52 p.m. The man said he was assisting his wife, who had too much to drink and felt like she was going to get sick, so he had stopped the car.

Suspicious activity: Suspicious footprints were reported in the back yard of a home on the 1700 block of Perkins Lane. The footprints continued to a neighbor's yard on the 4800 block of Drake Drive. Officers matched the boot prints left in the snow and found them to be from Maple Plain Public Works, which had been doing water meter readings in the neighborhood.

Suspicious activity: A Minnetrista resident reported that a plane flew very low near his home on Deer Creek Road.

PLYMOUTH

JAN. 16

Theft: A 44-year-old woman from Somerset, Wis., was arrested on suspicion of stealing a curling iron from Sally Beauty Supply, 4190 Vinewood Lane N.

JAN. 20

Theft: A snowboard, boots and bindings were stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked in a driveway on the 300 block of Balsam Lane N.

RICHFIELD

FEB. 10

Drugs: A 19-year-old man was cited for possession of marijuana after officers found him walking in the middle of the street at 1:34 a.m. on the 7000 block of Cedar Avenue S.

Drugs: A 40-year-old Richfield woman was arrested on a warrant and later found to be in possession of narcotics after her vehicle was stopped at 76th Street W. and Emerson Avenue S.

FEB. 6

Drugs: A 39-year-old Wayzata man was arrested for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia after he was stopped for a traffic violation on Highway 7 and Christmas Lake Road.

Theft: An ATV was stolen during the night from the Birch Bluff Road area.
