Underage consumption: A 19-year-old Edina man was cited for underage consumption, fleeing police and giving false information at Interlachen Boulevard and Merilane Avenue. Also cited for underage consumption was another 19-year-old Edina man.

JULY 2

Animal complaint: A cat was stuck up a tree for two days on the 300 block of Water Street. A call was received for three more days following, that the cat was still in the tree. The caller was advised that the cat would come down on its own.

GREENWOOD

JULY 6

Road condition: A road obstruction was reported at Christmas Lake Road and Hwy. 7. Officers found several ducks attempting to cross the highway. The squad car's air horn was used to scare the ducks to safety.

Property damage: Tomatoes and eggs were thrown at a home on Partridge Road.

PLYMOUTH

JULY 4

Burglary: A 2010 Audi 6PL was stolen from the garage of a home on the 2400 block of Yuma Lane N. The garage was unlocked and the keys were in the vehicle. The vehicle was recovered two days later in another city.

JULY 6

Burglary: Cash and candy were stolen from a Greenwood Park concession stand on the 3600 block of County Road 101.

JULY 10

Underage consumption: Four girls, ages 15 and 16, were cited for underage consumption after an officer was responding to a complaint of loud music coming from a vehicle on the 3400 block of Olive Lane.

RICHFIELD

AUG. 5

Drugs: A concerned citizen wished to turn over 4.8 grams of crack cocaine to the police department, 6700 Portland Av. S. It was placed into evidence and marked for destruction.

AUG. 6

Drugs: Firearms and narcotics were recovered after a search warrant was executed at an apartment on the 6300 block of Lyndale Avenue S.

SHOREWOOD

JULY 1

Animal complaint: Someone called to complain that loose dogs were chasing deer on the 6100 block of Lake Virginia Drive. The dog's owner said she would keep them on her property or on leashes. Officers advised her if she had more than two dogs she needed to obtain a kennel license from the city.

Theft: A 2013 Ford Focus was stolen from the 20600 block of Garden Road.

JULY 3

Theft: Two females stole a package of cupcakes from Cub Foods, 23800 Hwy. 7. The Minnetrista Police Department located the vehicle and the passenger admitted to stealing them. The cupcakes were returned to the store and disposed of. The manager declined to press charges.

JULY 4

Disorderly conduct: A 24-year-old Minnetonka man was arrested for disorderly conduct at Howard's Point Marina, 5400 Howard's Point Road. Officers had responded to a group of people fighting. The man was told numerous times to stop his disorderly behavior and he did not.

Suspicious activity: Officers responded to a home on the 6000 block of Chaska Road regarding a possible prowler on the patio. Three raccoons were found nearby in a tree.

Drunken driving: According to police reports, an anonymous person called to report that their unidentified neighbor was intoxicated and left their unidentified house in an unidentified vehicle and was on Birch Bluff Road.
