DEC. 4

Property damage. The driver of a vehicle pulled away from the gas pump but forgot to remove the nozzle at Storman's Food & Fuel, 9350 County Road 19. The gas pumps were turned off and Hanover Fire Department cleaned up the spill.

DEC. 5

Fire. A shed was on fire at a home on the 19500 block of Larkin Way. The resident was conducting a permitted burn and a spark from the fire ignited a shed. Hamel and Loretto fire departments extinguished the fire.

DEC. 8

Suspicious vehicle. Officers responded to the 20200 block of County Road 10 regarding a suspicious vehicle. Officers found a private investigator working in the area.

EDINA

DEC. 24

Burglary. A computer and jewelry were stolen from a home on the 5800 block of York Avenue S.

DEC. 27

Burglary. A purse was stolen from a home on the 5500 block of Dundee Road. The suspect gained entry to the home through an unlocked door.

DEC. 28

Theft. A purse valued at $2,270 was stolen from the Louis Vuitton store in the Galleria.

INDEPENDENCE

DEC. 2

Theft. A large lit horse yard ornament was stolen from a home on the 5100 block of Broadmoor Drive.

DEC. 8

Hunting complaint. A male driver of a vehicle stopped on the 1800 block of Nelson Road shot a turkey and threw it in his vehicle, then took off. Officers located feathers at the scene but were unable to find the driver.

MEDINA

DEC. 6

Suspicious vehicle. A vehicle was driving in circles in a parking lot on the 4300 block of Willow Drive. Officers spoke with the driver, who said he was early for a job interview and looking for a good place to park and wait.

Assist the public. A 63-year-old woman and employee of the Target at 300 Clydesdale Trail called police to report she was locked inside after business closing. Officers located a key-holder and the door was unlocked for her.

DEC. 8

Drunken driving. Someone reported a vehicle pulling a horse trailer was in a ditch on County Roads 24 and 19. The driver, a 42-year-old Waverly woman, was arrested for drunken driving. The horse had to be put down.

Missing person. A woman from the 3900 block of Arrowhead Drive reported her husband had not come home from work yet. Officers located the husband at his job and found that he was working a double shift.

Suspicious activity. A garage door kept opening and closing at a home on Equestrian Way. Officers determined it was an equipment malfunction.

DEC. 6

Animal complaint. A warning was issued to a resident on Covey Trail regarding a barking dog.

DEC. 8

Theft. A snowboard was stolen from a home on Halstead Drive.

Property damage. Someone put sand in the gas tank of a vehicle on the 2300 block of Niagara Lane N.
