Damage to property. Several mailboxes were knocked over by a snowplow in the 3000 block of Oakgreen Avenue. The complainant was given the number at Public Works.

DENMARK TOWNSHIP

DEC. 7

Rollover. Police responded to a report of an SUV in a ditch in the area of 70th Street and Neal Avenue. The vehicle had slid off the road and rolled over because of the snowy conditions. Nobody was injured in the accident.

DEC. 11

Found dogs. Two huskies were found and contained in the area of 80th Street and Neal Avenue. The caller said she would keep the dogs until the owner was located.

GRANT

DEC. 4

Boat trailer partially submerged. A boat trailer was reported in Woodpile Lake. Police contacted the registered owner of the trailer and discovered that the boat that went with the trailer had been stolen from its storage spot in Grant.

HUGO

DEC. 8

Bicycle theft. A bicycle was stolen from the SuperAmerica station at 14815 Forest Blvd. Police later found the bike several blocks away and returned it to the owner.

MAHTOMEDI

DEC. 6

Dumping complaint. Police were called to the Aldi store at 750 Wildwood Road on a report of someone dumping their personal garbage in the store's trash container. Police contacted the suspect using personal mail from the trash and advised him to stop or he'd be sent a citation for theft of services.

OAKDALE

DEC. 7

Tampering with a motor vehicle. A man told police that while he was sleeping in his vehicle, someone had tried to open his passenger door in the 1300 block of Grospoint Avenue. A male suspect saw the complainant in the vehicle, threw an electronic device at him and fled along with two other male suspects.

DEC. 8

Suspicious persons. Police checked on a report of two men on bicycles in the 6000 block of Upper 35th Street. The men told police they were collecting scrap from dumpsters. They were advised of ordinances governing the collection of refuse. No criminal activity was found.

PINE SPRINGS

DEC. 7

Equipment repair order/window tint. Police stopped a vehicle for speeding on Hwy. 36 near Viking Drive. The officer noticed that the windows of the vehicle were tinted too darkly. The driver was given a verbal warning for speeding and issued an equipment repair order for the tinted windows.

WOODBURY

DEC. 4

Road rage. A man got out of his vehicle, stopping traffic, to yell at the driver of the vehicle behind him in the area of Weir Drive and Valley Creek Road. The man was angry because he had been cut off on the highway by the vehicle several minutes earlier. The driver got back in his car but the argument continued until police arrived. An officer advised both drivers of their poor decisions and actions. No charges were filed.

DEC. 10

Motorcycle complaint. Police made contact with the rider of a motorcycle who reportedly couldn't control his bike and had driven through a stop sign at Valley Creek Road and Queens Drive. The man acknowledged it wasn't the best day to take his motorcycle out.
