For the second time in four weeks, a Wal-Mart Supercenter is opening in the Twin Cities, this one in Roseville at County Road C and Cleveland Avenue.

The grand opening takes place at 8 a.m. on Wednesday following a brief ribbon-cutting ceremony that starts at 7:30 a.m.

The store will employ about 300 full- and part-time associates, company officials said, including about 85 positions created by the store's relocation from St. Anthony. The 160,000-square-foot store will be open from 6 a.m. to midnight every day and aims to be a one-stop shopping spot offering groceries and a pharmacy along with general merchandise.

The store's opening comes four weeks after a similar Wal-Mart Supercenter opened in Cottage Grove. It also become the fourth Wal-Mart to open in recent months in the north metro, joining others in Blaine, Andover and Princeton that opened last year.
