The Vikings kept addressing the trenches on Saturday.

With two sixth-round picks, the Vikings added guard Colby Gossett and defensive end Ade Aruna at 213th and 218th overall.

Gossett (6-5, 311 pounds) started all 13 games last season at right guard, where the Vikings have an opening in the starting lineup. The Appalachian State product is the second offensive lineman drafted by the Vikings this year after tackle Brian O'Neill (Pittsburgh) was taken in the second round.

Aruna (6-5, 262 pounds) is another athletic defensive lineman hailing from Nigeria. He came to the United States in high school and has since flourished as a football player. The Tulane product had his best season as a junior, posting 10 tackles for a loss and five sacks.

The Vikings ended the draft with inside linebacker Devante Downs, taken with the 225th overall pick in the seventh round. Downs (6-3, 250 pounds) suffered a season-ending injury that went undisclosed by the University of Cal. He still finished second on the team with 65 tackles and All-PAC-12 honorable mention.
