The Victoria Lions cross-country meet, one of the most prestigious competitions of the cross-country season, has been washed out by today's weather and rescheduled for Oct. 13.
According to coach Scott Stallman of host school Chaska, "We have proposed to the coaches that if they can come on the 13th we would still host a meet. I'm fully aware that many conference meets are scheduled for that date but we will take anyone from our line of schools that can compete."
Let's hope for better weather in the days ahead.
